I'll get to drive it a little further tomorrow when my buddy comes over (just in case it dies in traffic). Hopefully everything will be okay. I'll keep you posted.

Well my internet has been down for two days, but its back now. I took the truck in yesterday afternoonand left it at the dealer. They called today and said that I have a bad transfer pump in the tank. They said this could be why have been getting below average mileage and why it started stalling on me over the weekend. At first they told me it would be $250 ($150 for warranty transfer and $100 for deductible). I didn't know about these fees, but didn't argue because it is better than $900 for parts and labor. Then he called back and said that the warranty wasn't transferable because the truck had more than 75k miles. It was going to be $900. Then he called again and said he made a mistake and the warranty didn't have to be transfered and there was no deductible so everything is covered and I'm out nothing. It will be done tomorrow and hopefully the new transfer pump will help.

04QC4x4, If it the transfer/lift pump, I would say the heck with
stock and bring it home and install a FASS or Walbro pump.
The stock lift pumps are a common problem in these trucks.

They put in the new lift pump and the mechanic took it for a test drive and said it wasn't running like it should. He checkedand the wastegate was stuck open. I'm getting a new turbo. They ordered it and hopefully it will be done on Friday. I didn't even have to say anything, they just said we'll get you a new one and get it in asap. I'll let you know how it turns out.

My new turbo didn't come in today, so I'll have to wait until Monday to get my truck back. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Well I finally got my truck back yesterday afternoon and it still runs like crap. The dealer installed a new lift pump and a new turbo (about $3500 with parts and labor). The shop forman drove it and said it still wasn't running right and they couldn't figure it out. They finally called and said that my cat plugged and that was causing the loss in power and fuel economy, but they couldn't get their hands on a new cat for at least a few weeks if not months. The told me that my best bet was to just delete the cat. That is my project for tomorrow. I picked it up and my check engine light has already come on again for turbo underboost. Do you think the cat could cause me to get a turbo underboost code? It still runs extremely sluggish and gets bad mileage.
