My stocker was plugged for 2 years, highest I ever saw was 41 with the water meth on, had to watch the EGT very close though. I replaced it because somehow something got past my air filter and ate the compressor blades. It still worked, I just pulled it because I figured if the blades were chewed up it was only a matter of time before it took out the bearings as I doubt it was chipped exactly the same and kept in balance. The turbine side still looked fine, black but fine, no rolled tips or anything.

plug the wastegate, dont cost anything but if u can manage to get $ a bigger turbo is indeed the better thing to do,faster spooling and better efficiency at same psi

the edge comp is a boost fooler, however your wastegate is keeping you from building any more boost. If you don't have a boost fooler and plug the wastegate, it ain't gonna get you far cause the ecm will see the high boost level and defuel.

so i have the edge juice program, and attitude monitor, so that means if i plug my waste gate, it will let me boost to higher levels, and my ecm will not notice and defuel ? because it has the jumper that plugs in

The edge juice with attitude will defuel the engine forhigh boost. My edge comp doesn't. You'll have to go through the manual and see if you can soemhow raise the boost level on the edge (might even give them a call and see) one quick way would be to just pull the wastegate line off and try to plug the hole in the compressor housing with something and see how much boost you can build

The Juice/Attitude for my 04.5 came with a brass elbow in the box that I think was supposed to go on the wastgate line, but the instructions didn't even mention it. I have seen my pressure on the Attitude hit 38psi on level 5 soI didn't bother investigaing the little elbow thing. I don't think I would want the boost to ever go higher than it already will. BTW- I set the J/A to defuel at 36 psi.
The only thing that bugs me is why would they include something that I don't need?

Those would be for a different turbo. The boost elbow is for turbos with a rubber wastegate line. 02cummins, your turbo has the hard line so the boost elbow will not work on it.
