Default turbo ?'s

hey guys, well someone help me out here with this situation, on level 3 on my edge juice attitude combo, my turbo only boosts to 23psi max. i thought my edge was supposed to trick my computer, and have it boost more ? but i take it my waste gate is set for 23psi? in order for me to get higher boost pressure from my stock turbo, what do i have to do ? how high can i go max to be safe ? (auto tranny) new waste gate ? what do i do BESIDES order a new turbo for you smart ***'s haha...some day i will do it, but im not rich right now...so i have to do it the poor mans way for now

my edge came with a little brass plug to plug up off the wastegate line. I see boost lvls in the 35psi range. A co-worker had his 97 dodge boosting to 45psi on the stock turbo and didn't have any problems with it.

yea but what was the plug like...fully closed off ? did it have a hole in it ? in the case i can just grab a plug from work ,sine we have a million of the brass pipe plugs and if i have to, i will drill a hole in it!

It had a small hole in it. But I don't think that matters cause they had me drill a hole right after it in the wastegate line.

id put the Banks big head wastegate controller on it instead of just plugging it off. The wastegate is on there for a reason....

the wastegate is there for a reason but if u crank the psi up its dont mater anyway, the stock holset is not able to climb higher than 35psi,event at that rate its way past beyond efficient point
