Default Fuel Leak

im having trouble finding a fuel leak. i got an 01 with the ctd. it is blowing back on the frontdriveshaft and left side of the frame. back of the motor looks dry though and all fuel lines look dry. any ideas of what the problem could be?

EDIT: nevermind, didn't read the post clearly till I seen mayfair's post (by the way here's my sign)




Mayfairs got ya covered. Mostlikely is that breather tube on the front cover. You need to drain that catch can out every oil change.

Sounds like the vent tube area to me.
Just a guess ...

On my 2001 the o-ring went out in the drain valve on the fuel filter. I didn't notice tillI saw the spot on the concrete where Iparked. (slow drip) I messed with it till it got worse and truck kept sucking air. Parts store guy gave me the 2 cent o-ring.
I'll also mention "dealer" wanted $38 for new valve[sm=escape.gif]

i have looked all over this truck and can find nothing. it definitely has a fuel leak because it is all over the driveshaft and left side of the frame but even with the truck running i can't see anything. i had 3 mechanics at the garage i work at look at it and they also came up with nothing. here has to be a leak somewhere but damn if i can find it.
