Intake Manifold
I am about to get a aftermarket intake manifold. I am having a hard time deciding between the ATS and the Banks. Both claim theirs is the best, but which one actually is? Believe it or not the Banks is actually cheaper. Guys that have these, what are yalls thoughts?
Thanks

I was looking into the exhaust and intake manifold, but ran short on money. Heres a link to a guy on ebay for the intake, its the cheapest i could find it any where. He also has the exhaust manifold, check it out.

I'm of the opinion that I'll probably never exceed the capacity of the stock intake manifold. Does one work better than the other? It's hard to tell. But, Steve swears by his ATS, so I would have to believe that an aftermarket intake manifold would be a less restrictive improvement over stock.
So, for me it would come down to which one I liked the looks of under the hood. Because they do look good.

Yeah, Steve, that would be an interesting test. I've been wanting to get an ATS for a while, based on looks alone. I'm not really expectingvast performance changes. But if there is some noticable improvement, great.

I might just do that... another thing would be to put the stock air box back on... last year I'd put it on for an extra1 mpg but it changed the way the motor ran too much for me to want to leave it that way. seemed though that when I put the aero on, the stock airbox was less of a factor. it would be a good test now.
