Verifying 2004 or 2004.5 model
I thought I had a 2004.5 based on the engine sticker reading at 325HP. I looked at the sticker on the door panel and it has a 1/04 date on it.
What should I look for that would tell me which it is.

That is correct. The 2004 model was sold during the latter part of 2003, the trucks built after 1/04 are the 2004.5's. Another easy way to tell is that the 2004.5's have the 4" exhaust, vs 3.5" for the 2004.
