Well when I complained to the dealer, he told me that the specs on the A/C system call for a temp of 54f at the vents and told me that it will blow no colder than that. I have yet to check it to see just what temp it blows at . I might try that this weekend.
I think the service manager is full of it. I have checked othe vehicles and gotten readings in the hight 30's before with ambient temps in the 90's.

I'm afraid a Dodge is never going to have A/C as good as the Chebby's. We have a crew cab Duramax at work and that thing will freeze your ***. The fan also blows MUCH harder than my truck, and it does a good jod of keeping the backseat passengers cool.

But that is the only thing I like about that truck. Otherwise it's a POS in my book

sorry to tell you this buzzy, but I went thru this with dodge already.even wrote to their engineering guys, got no results. superdave is on the right track. I'm an a/c guy for 20 years. the cummins lack there own fan infront of the condenser, and I can't get dodge to acknowledge that. So the only thing you can do is install your own fan infront of the condenser, that will solve the problem. but like suprdave said , it will have to be a real skinny one. I live in the desert so I definietly know how you feel. I'll start looking and install one sometime this March before the desert heat really kicks in.
