China want a Cummins
Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI) , one of the world's largest suppliers of diesel engines, said Tuesday it has received an order for 1,900 engines from public transport companies in China.

China is going to continue buying automotive goods (and others)and drive the price up for the rest of the world. Things were much better (for the Western world)when China was a more repressive regime by keeping their populace poor and underpriveleged. Unforunately for us, they are now accelerating their growth and consuming an excess of products across the spectrum thus driving prices up for us (concrete, oil, etc.). If their goverment were to keep them back in the days of the bicycle (ala the past few decades) things would inflate at a slower rate (not sure how much or how little). Their appetite as consumers is more dangerous to our way of life than their military issimply due to their numbers.
