Default Advise on power up

Hi to all

Travis here.

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500, 24V Cummins.

I am looking for some advise on spicing it up a bit. I pull a 41 Ft Cyclone Toy Hauler, it weighs around18,000 lb when we have it loaded, and the hills do a number on my Dodge and I.

I have a problem keeping momentum, and over heating when I get going up the long streched out hills.

Any help here would be greatly appriciated.

Have you actually had it weighed on a trip with all the toys? I bet that trailer weighs more than 18K
What mods does your truck have (if any)?

If its already overheating, I wouldn't add any more power till you get the cooling system preforming better. More power means more heat.

thermostat
radiator
water pump

radiator hose replacement

cooling needs to be adressed first , as Jake mentioned.
