Seriously- I was told that Dodge changed the engine configurations. They only offer the high output diesels, so no reason to continue with the high output badges. This I heard from a salesman, and I also read it on the net- so it has to be true, right????

 

that would be 04.5 and up. 04.5 and below had two output ratings. I don't recal ever seeing an HO badge on a 3rd gen though. As said above that may have been 2nd gens only. I suffer from CRS though so don't take my word on it

 

Ohhhh.....ok, that makes sense...I knew I had seen the HO badges on some trucks but didn't remember which model year or generation it was...Just thought they put them on all the HO's regardless of year..Thanks for the info...I'll try to get some pics up...
