Can't go wrong with Rotella T and a Statopore oil filter.

The stuff they stick in their from the factory is no good. Just my two cents
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Mopar oil made by Mobil.

I've been using mobil delvac. I hadn't really heard of anyone else running it. Is that a bad thing?

My brother has a Cheby and he's tried Rotella and Delvac and according to his on board diagnostics the Delvac stays good long than the Rotella.

The "on board diagnostics" have nothing to do with measuring oil quality. It's not like there is a small laboratory inthe oil pan with a robot that does spectrochemical analysis and chemical titration! Any car in which the computer calculates oil life does it with algorithms that gather info including miles driven, perhaps the amount of time spent idling, and the duration of each trip. The algorithm probably starts with a figure, say 7,000 miles, and then decrements it every time there is a short trip or any extended idling. It certainly couldn't tell the difference between Rotella and Delvac. Hell, you could fill your crankcase with corn syrup instead of oil and the "on board diagnostics" would continue to calculate your oil life while your engine destroyed itself.

Does anyone think that the Delvac is a bad choice?
