Crap. You posted before I finished. Guess I've got the nv5600. Why are parts hard to come by? I thought these were bullet-proof. Oh well. Build a better truck, and we'll find a bigger idiot to wreck it.

Build a better truck and we'll push it to it's limits.

Its a TRUK. It will be just fine sleeping outside!!Besides- without the truck taking up space you'd have room for an air hockey table, a bar, and a pole for the girls to swing around[:-]

I think the turn radius is tighter on a Dodge than on a Chev. Should be easier to plow. Don't know this for sure, tho.

New venture quite making nv5600 and parts for them. Infact I think they sold off all of the tooling and stuff to make the parts. They are bullet proof if you don't hot rod them around too much after all they are a truck transmission.

I'd have to disagree about the trun radius.
Of course I'm runnin stock tires now and my old Dodge had 285 on it.
Both were standard cab and 4x4 ,3/4 tons
As far as the truck being parked inside it's so it can dethaw from plowin.
Although the pole and barwould be a great addition.
But remember I'm in Ohio and they just past the 6 ft , no touch law.

I hate that, and the smoking ban[sm=bomb.gif]

Yep, tha'd be my choice of car. The truck will run, but it just don't corner too well and the sudden stops aren't very "sudden".

Man, glad I don't live in Ohio!!The wife was born in Strongsville (I think that was the name of it). Her extended family still lives in the Cleveland area. Never been there myself. Met her in Idaho.
