new CTD, should I get one ...
My 06 2500 4x4 6sp hemi is down right awsome, But For foolish reasoning I don't want to get into, I'm wanting to step up to the new CTD 6.7 with the 6sp.
Any one out thier own the new 6.7 and is thier a improvement over the diehard 5.9 CTD.
My 06 is a reg cab, love it to death, but the new 2500 will be a long box quad cab, most likely a base SL
I'm haapy with the milage and performance of the hemi, But I may soon be in a position to up grade.
Prices on used 5.9 are too dam high, may as well go new ...

prices are so high on the 5.9's cause people want them. . .the first year of the 6.7's has shown to be bitter sweeet due to problems with the emissions junk. however those that have the 6.7 have nothing but positive things to say about it.
I'm not sure on the mileage of the 6.7 but I can say the 5.9's do get better mileage.
in reguards to the tranny, are you going for the manual or automatic?

I Recently got my 06 5.9 4x4 auto q/c short box and I had an open option between that an 05 king ranch and a new 6.7 all similar equiped I obviously went with another dodge if that helps ya guess my take on the situation....5.9 is proven and I get about 22 highway and 16-17 city
I hear 6.7s are pullin 17-18 highway...I don't have one so I can't swear by it though
