Does anyone know if this is a Dodge recall... Usually you have to step on the brake to change from Park to Drive. My truck is worn out or broke... because I do not need to step on the brake. Any help is appreciated

 

Dont know of any recall. however it can be and sounds like a faulty safety neutral switch. Can you start the truck in Gear?

 

Need to fill in your signture line so we know what year and how cold the weather is where you at

 

I have not tried to start it in gear. I will see tomorrow. And the truck is in Florida, so it only gets down to 30 degrees at night during the winter. Currently its 80 during the day and 50-60 at night
