Default Anyone know about MYSTERY switch for tranny?

any1 ever hear of a mystery switch for 48RE trannys? i heard if you put one in you can lock torque up in overdrive instead of using towhaul button and locking it in 3rd. Because i have a 4 speed auto (3 plus overdrive). when im at 60 mph and i hit tow/haul button my truck drops a gear and rpms go up. if trailer you are towing wouldnt it be better if you could lock in overdive(assuming no big hills and such)

wouldnt it be bad to lock up our autos in overdrive? Too much stress on that small gear and small clutch pack?

stock it will lock up in OD, but the mystery switch I heav heard about and the bad thing is if you have it engaged and forget about it you will remain locked up even in 1st when your comeing to a stop. . . .other than that it works good for racers.

to keep the converter locked up. . .you have to remember it will lock up and unlock in any gear. . .and doing so will heat the tranny fluid up VERY quick.

if my truck goes into overdrive (while pulling) and I have tow/haul off, then it must be locked isnt it? If not it would go into 3rd then?
