Default Truck not starting

Hey guys, for the past few weeks my truck has been unable to start. The main problem seems to be that the engine is not getting fuel. I've noticed that the fuel filter is also half full when this occurs, I always thought that it was supposed to be full. Another issue is that the fuel tank seems to be consistently building up pressure, now the dodge dealer explained t me that this should not happen. Any ideas??? I'm thinking about dropping the tank, replacing the fuel lines, and replacing the sending unit as well. Tell me what you all think.

if it is a 95 then you have a mechanical fuel pump mounted on the drivers side of the engine near the back. . .I highly doubt it, but chances are the diaphram has broken, or the ULSD has eaten away at the seals in the fuel lines causing it to suck air.

Kind of a long shot but what happens if you try to start it with the fuel cap off? Isnt the cap supposed to vent and release pressure or let air in so the lift pump doesnt have to work so hard?

Well, i've already replaced the fuel pump and that didnt solve the problem. But you do bring up a good point about the ULSD, because when i first started running this truck I had about a full tank of red dye in it, then when i started to use the highway use diesel i started to get the rough/no starting problem. I'm definitely gonna check into the fuel lines though. I'm at the point where I will probably replace all the fuel lines and fuel line components running from the tank to the fuel pump and take it from there. Also i have tried starting the truck with the fuel cap off, it didhelp a little, but it didnt completely solve the problem. Isn't there a vent hose that runs from the tank thatshould preventpressure from building up?
