Just letting everyone know I finally got my truck up to Garmon's shop for the rebuild. It barely made it on a little 5K trailer (owner said it would hold 8K, and it did). Hopefully it'll be back in FEB/MAR at the latest.

Drew: Were you talking about his old shop in Mcdough(sp?)? He just moved to a place in Griffin and it seemed nice to me (on par with other big shops I've been to.)

 

3-4 months is a long time without your truck....sure you don't wanna barrow a CTD... Nicky pry wont be needin his....

 

I appreciate the offer, but we have an 06 2500 too, so I've been getting my fix from time to time. It actually broke months ago, but I had to fight with the Cummins, Dodge, and my insurance before we could start.

Aero Ram: are you down at Hurlburt? I was over at Eglin last year before I moved up to AL.

Maybe you saw me around this was my old truck you might of seen it around...maybe stuck in traffic on hwy98 or somethin....lol

We probably passed by each other on post and didn't even realize it. I used to go to Hulburt for boat rentals and camping out on the islands in the bay. My 3500 is grey but was usually brown while I was there.

yeah picture mine with more mud to....then you'll have a better idea of what it looked like on a normal day....lol stupid black mud is hard to get off the dash and door panels...get stuck had my windows down and tossed er in reverse and stomped without thinking.....bad idea!

 

I knew he had a shop in griffin. . .but didnt know he moved operations there. . .good luck and let me know when your done. . .we can hook up and shut down some roads

I swear I cleaned mud off that dash half a dozen times and it kept coming back.
