Then I get the second email back. Man you gotta just laugh at the nerve people have LOL

Thanks so much for your prompt response....The payment of the item will be made via a Certify Check.The Check that will be issued will include the money for the sale of your item and the shipping cost.i would like to restate clearly that this item will be shipped to London and i have a shipping agent who would take good care of the shipment.You are required to cash the Check you will receive and deduct the funds for the sale of your item and have the rest sent to the shipper via Western Union money transfer at one of their outlet around you in order to schedule the pick up of the item.All necessary transfer papers will be dully signed by the shipper on my behalf when the shipping agents comes for the pick up of the item.I will be willing to entertain more of your questions,please provide your CONTACT NAME,ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER so i can have it forwarded to my client for immediate payment issuance.

 

LOL............I have seen that excact response so many times. I buy and sell stuff almost daily on craidslist and ebay. I get those on almost every listing. Always the same ****. It is a generic leter they send out to everyone they try to scam. Thats why it takes them so long to reply and why they never mention the actuall name of your item. Key word ITEM..............LMAO thats funny.

 

And your not jumping on it , aholes get some dumb asses with that because the bank willcash the check and it seems to take a week or more for them to know it's no good and come back for the money.

 

Make them come over and we can have 1/2 the forum waiting with a good ol ctd *** whoopin.

i heard the exact same freakin thing... i wonder if its the same guy.... my friends dad was sayin that people in Nigeria make extremely good replicas and thats what they use so it takes two weeks for it to bounce....

 

Ive received something exactly like this 2 years ago,i was wanting to sell my 85 firebird for 3000$
the guys sended me 3x 2000$ in money order and said after that he sended me the wrong amount,and that i have just to give the exedent in CASH to the guy that will take my car.

So if i had listening him, i would end by selling my car,giving him 3000$ and having to give the bank 6000$ back.
So i would end 9000$ poorer and no car left so i would lose 12'000$ for selling a 3000$ car not that bad :P

 

while i was trying to buy a tractor on ebay, i got several 2nd chance offers on tractors i had bid on. all of them looked pretty generic and lame...but the one legitimate one i received just happened to be about 30 miles from me....made it alot easier to just show up with a trailer and money and leave with the merchandise.
it'd sure be nice to find a few of these little ****ers and stomp their nuts into the ground....i guess i can dream.
