how are Jacobs exhaust brakes compaired to others......Dallas

 

I love mine....but I haven't had any other so I can't do a line by line compairson or anything.

I've got an 06 Auto & it ties into the tranny controlling shift points and brings the truck down great. Helps in the am to get it warmed up too

 

I want a Jake Brake, I think it would be sweet...especially with my stacks but find it hard to justify since I dont tow often enough

 

maybe if you put on one of your little outfits some1 will "give" you one... MR. Freebie...

 

Or if I just ask...that might work too but I will put on my outfit if a have to

I want one as wel, as I anticipate hauling great loads next summer.. cannot wait to buy my 5er next year.... they are somewhat cost prohibitive though

 

I have the pac-brake and will never own another truck without one!!If you tow with one, you will love it. It also works when not towing, which saves your brakes and rotors. It also saves the brakes and rotors on the vehicle being towed.
