I've got the Power Puck for my 04.5 and I like it. I just got my truck running right so I haven't even had a good chance to check the mileage gains, but the power is noticeable on both settings. I think its an affordable way to gain some good power. I would say its worth the money. I'll let you know how my mileage turns out. Hopefully I'll get at least a 1 mpg gain.

i am planning on going into one of those and selling my QUAD XZT. i love the quad box but what i can sell my used box for i can get into a new power puck for less money and have more power with putting a few dollars back into my pocket...

i hope someone chimes in here w/ some imput on this module because i am seriously thinking about doing this. i know cutter just bought one and hes got an 02 i beleive but he has not been around lately. i even wrote him a myspace message and he did not get back with me[sm=confused06.gif]

what does the power puck come with? any gauges or pyro?how much is it roughly for a 2004.5 ram?

 

i was going to go power puck, but went EDGE and like it....but I have a buddy who runs one on his 01, likes it alot. And then, now, everyone one here forced me to buy a SMARTY!

I got an 01 and you can tell the power. I'm working on the milage. For the power it seems good, no gauges or anything, just a little round puck with cords. It took me about 15min. to plug it in cause I couldnt find my second cord. But once you find them both and know about them its a simple snap and go. I could prob do it in little as 3min now.

 

I doesn't come with any guages or anything. There is a switch that you mount in the cab that allows you to switch from stock to 60 hp or 90 hp on the fly. The actual module stays under the hood. I got mine for $165 with free shipping at http://www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/diablo/power-puck.htm.

I would say its worth the money. I had a superchip programmer on my last truck and I liked it but I get just as much power out of the puck for half of the price.
