Well the trucks been back to dealer with malfunction light problems again. Code 2000 again this time. Left truck for a day and results are I have a bad wiring harness. Sound familiar to anyone? Anyof you other owners with the 6.7 having these problems? Fourteen times this light has been on in 3 months and all related to emissions. I told dodge if its not fixed this time I'm turning it back in.

 

in reading around the 6.7 forums it seems to be a very common code. P2000 = NOx Trap Efficiency Below Threshold

many are saying getting the lastest flash has helped. Check with your dealer to see if they've flashed your truck and if there's a newer flash than the ( AU )

 

Newest flash is AV (with AW incoming???). AFAIK, AV addressed some automatic transmission shifting issue (engine lugging). If you don't have at least AU flash, I'd have them upgrade theh software before replacing the wiring harness. I have not heard anyone needing a wiring harness.

 

I have had very little trouble with mine other than poor fuel mileage. I still haven't had the G recall done yet but I have an appointment at a dealer Thursday.

 

Mine went 12000 miles with no trouble then all hell broke lose.... CEL on 4 times in 200 miles... The dealer did all refashes, new O2 senc, and 6 new injectors...Light off for now but fuel milege down to about 13mpg max... Oh and hope they dont have to do your injectors...took over two weeks to get them.....They told me if latest flash doesnt work they will put in new ecm and then look into the wireharness

 

The truck has been in the dealer over 7 times in the past 4 month because of these emission problems and too many other problems to list.Yesterday a tech flew infrom "Dodge Headquarter" to evaluate mine and about 4 other trucks at the dealer.The tech brought in some new flash that is not out yet to dealerships and is supost to make everything alright.I'm still awaiting the verdict, the dealer said either they will fix my truck or buy it back. Anyway I picked my truck up last night and drove about 100miles and the Check engine light came back on P2000.[:@]What a disapointment... Anyone else have these kind of results? The dealer will not disclose what the tech has advised however they will send me something in the mail. Hows that for service..

 

damn that sucks. i did have my emissions light come on and i made my appoinment at the dealer. but before i took it in the light went off. still i went ahead and took it and they re flashed it. then i had a recall on my 02 sensor so i took it for that. other than that luckly i have not had any problems with it. but i dont have but 5500 miles on it so far. only thing that sucks is my gas miles lol 14 mpg not that great lol
