He's had to have his hands operated on one finger at a time. The last time I talked to him he was trying to convince the doctor to do mpre than one finger at a time because the pain was so intense.

when/how have you talked to him?

 

We've traded emails from time to time, but very rare because of the pain he's in. He just sounds bummed because of the lack of use with his hands.
