Alright had a little scare today...pulling out of a parking lot today, I had to get on it a little bit to pull infront of a car. As I was getting on it my truck shuts off! I still had battery [power and was able to pull over. When I tried to start it, the ignition would turn over. I waited a few minutes, tried again and after a few seconds of cranking it finally started up. Of course the check engine light was on, but it seemed to drive fine. I turned my Edge down from 4 to 1 and back up and it seemed to operate fine. I then went to Dodge( mistake I know) to see if they could atleast check it out on the spot. Needless to say they wanted $200 just to check plus the diesel guy wasnt in...isnt it odd that there isnt a diesel mechanic working on a saturday at a dealership?...anyway, after a few more stops on my way home the check engine light turns off and all seems normal again!...Now I am little nervous about why or how this happened. anybody have a similar problem happened or anything I should have checked out? The truck is no longer under warranty so I am not worried about dodge griping about the programmer or anything else.

 

had something similar happen with an edge installed... except it went bamm before it shut off. the edge was dead, had to bypass it to get it going again. edge swapped it out at no charge.

 

My edge seems to be working just fine. It wouldnt start up when the truck was having trouble, but it seems to be ok now. I am going to keep an eye onif the next couple days and see
