4500 & 5500 in a 4x4 are max towing of 17,400 (18,600 for 4x2)its legal reasons not true performance my 2003 tows 26k like a dream

why not get yourself a F650. . .you can have an ISB under the hood of one of them. . .or why not a FL60, you can also get an ISB as well.

I think the power output is something like 275hp but 650tq.

hopefully soon!! I bet I am selling my F450 in 3-4 years for the new 2011 Ram 4500 With the New Cummins 7.4L with 475 HP & 850 pounds torque. Witha Fifth wheel tow capacity of 28,000

Oh yeah and it will be a Hybrid getting 20 mpg towing my 26,000 pound trailer

Ill keep you all informed of my impressions of the F450 and how it hauls

Bigriver is going to be needing a bigger Ram soon as his taste in 5vers keeps growing.

That and his old Ram just kinda dissapeared.
