Default Flared Fender Mud Flaps

Are mud flaps required on dual rear wheeled 1 tons with flared fenders?

I think that depends on your state and what the laws are.

I dont know if they are required or not but they sure save the trailer and the exhaust tip too. My last two exhaust tips got big dents in them from rocks. This new tip doesn't have any sinceI put themudflaps on. And the front of the trailer doesn't look like its been through the bead blaster

another good point would be your rocker panels wont have dents in them. . .this is why I had line-x sprayed on my rockers

Required by law here in Texas, I used to have an F-350 and failed an inspection just because of that fact.
