as far as I know they wont, looking at my bake caliper and inner rim the clearance is like 1/2 already! I've heard they won't fit as well...

nope, Dodge finally saw fit to put some massive brakes on the Heavy Duty trucks... 17" is the minimum.

Hear is the deal...

I am gonna buy a 6" and 37's on 17" wheels. I put the ones currently on my truck on craigslist prematurely (considering I don't have a lift, or the new wheels and tires yet). Well I got 3 people who wont them allready (in about 4 hours of being listed), butI don't got nothing to role on untill my new stuff comes. One guy actually wanted to come tomorrow and pick them up, for asking price!!My b-n-law still has the originals off of his 99 and they are of course 16's andI washoping to usethem untill my new stuff came, but not now [:@].

some 17's are pretty affordable... the damn 18's though... rip-off. mine are $320 something a piece. next time I have to buy a set I'm going to get the 35x12.5x18's... about $100 bux cheeper per tire. downside is I have to wait about 80,000 more miles or sell the ones I have in the garage... (have a 2nd set I bought used, cheep that match the ones I have on there now).
