My experience with DHL is all good. I use them all the time for my business and have had far fewer problems than using UPS. All the delivery services put on holiday staff and service can suffer due to the increased holiday work load. Hope you get all of your missing items, good luck.

Dell uses DHL for all its shipping. At work we send back failed components to dell all the time and its all DHL pickup. We have a hugh complex and it's all they can do to find us.

We ordered new desktops thru Dell and wife was told by the operator that they would be shipped last part of November.
Got an email two days after ordering, that they were ready for shipping and got the tracking numbers.
Three days later, they are delievered to our door.
Dell has changed shippers. They used to use Airborne.
Airborne is the worst so far as customer service is concerned.
Wife used to work at a place that used several shipping companys and
the best for customer service and tracking something was UPS.

You don't happen to work in that UPS hub off the end of the Penn Turnpike before you get into New Jersey just north of Philly? For the life of me I cant recall thename of the town it's in.... My company had a short but sweet contract onetimethat lastedbetween the holiday season of thanksgiving, chrsitmashauling loads of books from amazon.com in kentucky to there. 700 miles one way drop the load of books grab an empty and go back to kentucky to get another load of books. I went back and forth every day like that for several weeks I was turning big miles 4200 or 4900 a week solo loland made a huge pile of money.Thesweetest run I've ever had. Ohh and you should see that UPS hub outside of chicago that's the biggest one they have been therebefore too.

On the DHL thing I've always gotten good service from them UPS, fedex,USPS. I wouldn't give the guy a hard timeDrew I think it's the holiday thing with all the temp drivers and such. Iordered 2 laptops myself from dell a couple of weeks before thanksgiving. I got that real cheap basic one for $500 christmas present for my niece and got myself an inspiron 1520 speced up with everything I wanted.

I hope your laptop WORKS when you get it at this point .....

I'm sure it's just the Christmas rush. Greet the guy with a nice warm cup of hot coco and make his day.

Just got home and found a DHL sticker on the door. Wife bought a monitor from Dellfor her brother. They left us the option of signing thesticker. Thought of this post. Glad it all worked out.
