kinda pissed
so i went to the dealership today to pick up my truck and while i was there i was talkin to the mechanic about this whole emissions thing with the new 6.7 and he never really answered my question, i want to know how i can put straight pipes from turbo back, not only without throwin codes, but i also don't want to eff up my motor, apparently tampering with the cats will void your 100,000 mile warranty, this would not be good seeing how i haven't hit 1000 miles yet, so my question is how the hell do i get straights without throwin codes, and is it bad for this new motor to have straights, i don't mind voiding that warranty if its not gonna hurt anything. i've seen a couple dudes on youtube that have put them on and it sounds ridiculous, i want it baddddd. have any of you guys tried

but i must say thats sweet that someone came out w/ a set up that will work!
I hear there was a guy that made relay or something that would cut out the CEL when you would remove a CAT off your gas motor. Well when the feds found it he was thrown in jail and had to give back all the money to the customers and pay to have their rides put back right. Talk about expensive. Hopefully this doesn't happen to this company. I think the Off Road Only might keep that from happening.

i dunno but its damn aggrivating, i just want it to be louddddddd! these guys at the dealership have me scared to death about voidin my warranty, but isn't there some law that goes something like "anything added to a vehicle to improve mileage and make it more economical is not grounds for warranty termination" i heard someone talking about it a while back
[sm=WTFsgign.gif]I wouldn't expect a dealer to tell you how to straight pipe a 6.7. You technically mess w/ any emissions, fuel altering, etc.... will void your warranty in a heart beat regardless if it gives you better mileage. Some things depending on the dealer will overlook: Catback Exhuast, CAI, Intercoolers, guages, ect.
