We lost one before each of our two children and lost one more after my son was born. It's not for us to know why. We just need to move on. Good luck and happy practicing.
BTW all you 30 and under crowd.....getting to thirty went pretty slowly, 30 to 40 was in the blink of an eye! Enjoy every day, cause the older you get the faster they slip away!

Sorry for the loss. Both of my sisters lost one as well. My one sister had a still born. That was a very hard thing to take for all the family. We had a furneral for a child we never knew. That sister now has two twin girls that are absolutely beautiful and healthy. Make sure to comfort your wife and be compassionate with her. She needs you to be close, and to feel secure. It's easy to miss that when we are "men". God bless, and you have plenty of time for having kids. I'm 37 with three 12, 10 ,8. I still feel like I'm a kid though!

sorry to hear about it we will keep you in our prayers, we have been there. we tried for 7 years after our first one was born. she is now going to be 10 in march. the dr. said we would never have kids and with a miscarriage and artificial insemination that didnt work. well we now have a 14month old who is very healthy.
(the oldest is 5'1" and 120 lbs and very athletic while little one is just that little). I am 39 goin to be 40 in april while my wife just trurned the big 30 and wants more kids but we felt it would be better if we just raised the 2 girls we have.

yeah BK,childrens are blessings,i cant imagine living whitout my little one...
