it hasn't been proven but i know the turbo spools much quicker. I mean it seems sluggish today but I think thats because I grew used to the programmer and I took it off. I'll see about getting some pics tomorrow.

 

I just got back from a 599 mile trip with a light load in the bed of truck for the first half and dead headed back home. It took 33 gallons to fill up so with a calculator that is about 18 mpg. I wonder how much it will improve with a programmer such as the smarty jr. I can tell that there is a little more get up and go with the S & B installed and a lot more singing from the turbo. I LOVE IT!!!!LOOKS pretty good under the hood also..

As far as the silencerring on the 6.7 I dont think it can be pulled out. I thought i read here on the forums here that is was built into the turbo housing.

 

Well back when I was still at the Academy I had my truck down in the mech lab on the dyno and it made better power with the intake and filter on than with it off. The only reason I took it off was so I could see a little better to try and find an exhaust leak.

 

so i did what I could to get some decent pictures tonight. I know it was dark out but they came out decently.

How do I yank the silencer ring? I have a stock setup and don't want to mess with a sensor or performance but the louder the better from the engine bay!

 

What year Ram do you have?

Thanks. I am happy with how it looks and performs. It spools the turbo much quicker and gives it a little more low end power I think.
