Ok, this is driving me nuts.... I am using a lap top and something got messed up cause now whenever the cursor is just hovering anywhere it is always a little hand. If I click and hold (left button) somewhere other than a link, and then move my other finger up and down on the pad it will move the page up and down. If I click "new post" i can't click in the typing window to start typing anything, the little stupid hand just grabs the page and pans up and down again.

Any suggestions guys???...... before I beat my face in[sm=pcwhack.gif]!!!

 

Reboot?? If it's a windows box that fixes 80% of the problems.

 

you ever heard of STICKY KEYS??? (I have to kill mine in the reg cause I type a bit quick and it can get turned on w/ the shift key if you hit it to fast [:@][:@][:@])

Check Accessablity Options in your control panel...turn everything off....

 

Don't you have a wireless mouse? I can't use that pad thing for nothin. It drives me insane !!

 

Hmm... the hand went away on the nomal screen by following your directions frog, but it comes back still when I hover over the box to type in to post something.

 

Could you have changed a setting somehow? If it's not going to remove an important program, try restoring to an earlier date, such as a week ago or sometime. I'm assuming that you're running windows xp. Hope that it works.

Is the laptop new to you?? if so... Goto the Control panel and then the Mouse Setting... you can get a different cursor for almost any action....
