I had a fuel filter that was stuck when I first bought the truck, I drove two screw drivers through it and had to pull on them both at the same time, otherwise the filter would justtear. A stuck filter makes a 2 minute job take 30.
Didnt someone say in a previous post that the new motors with the oil filter on are sprayed with a clear coat and thats why its so hard to them off? Im not a "Wrench Thrower" but after that first oil change[:@] I had to walk around and pick up tools.
My first filter swap was kinda tight, but not as tight as I was expecting after reading all the stuff on the forum. I found access through the wheel well for a very large steel banded filter wrench and with a grunt, she came off.
