you have to disconnect the plug, remove the blank that is there, insert the wire you can get directly from cummins, then you will need to have some extra wire handy to extend it to the frame to ground it out.

is there a certain part number ether front cummins or from dodge for the wire? or does cummins only use one style of connector wire?

Nick, Bully Dog screwed with my computer and ended up putting the truck in fuel limp mode. I had no low end power at all, it was like driving a gasser with a plugged cat. So, after it blew my boost pressure sensor, and a reflash, not to mention tear the wastegate down to get unplugged, ended up being about $600 dollars for all this. Pain in the @#%$in ***. I also know a lot of guys here in Missouri that have had tons problems. One guy had a powerjoke with triple dog downloader and it ruined the entire computer. So, no bully dog for me.

I know this post is kinda old but I just got home... anyways When I used my smarty to program it automatically enabled it. I turned it back to stock and it still worked to so I guess if you know someone with a smarty you could just program up to one of the settings then go back to stock and it should stay...
