High Idle? Need Help!!
Nope, no option on the Smarty SR either to enable it. I never tried my high Idle untill after useing the smarty so I don't know if the Smarty did it automaticly or if I already had it enabled.
This is a Texas truck so it might not have been enabled and the Smarty did it for me, I don't know.
BTW Welcome back Aero.

I am at the point where I really don't care if I screw it up or not. Kinda like I am forceing my self to upgrade maybe.
I been running it on level #5 and I don't do any launches or anything. I will stomp on it here and there but so far I can't tell if it is driveing normal or maybe could be slipping a little.
Here lately when I remember, I use the tow/haul mode and that locks up the TC in 1st thru 3rd (I think) So if it slips, I should be able to feel it there.
I still have no real low end power for some reason, at least doesn't feel like it to me. There is a dramatic increase in power on the top end though.
I have the Aero 4040xl on the way that I bought from AKA Chewy and hopefully opening up the exhaust some will help things out a bit.
I'd just check it by giving it the pedal and see if the speedo climbs with the rpms or not just so you know...
I don't have real low end power either it kicks in shortly after you take off when your turbo spools up thenyou get a nice amount of kick outta it
You gonna ditch that cat also when you put in your aero...?

Smarty enableshigh idlefeature automatically becauseit's a handy feature many people want and smarty alsohas all the latest flashes andupdates from chrysler. So that's another plus for smarty. If you bought it recently you're flashes and updates are current. If you have the USB cable to plug it into your computer and download recent updates from mads websiteyou'll get all therecent flashes from Chrysler too because they update that periocially.Glad I saw this thread cause I want high idle on my manual thanks for the part# Drew.
You'll need a USB cord can get one at Wal Mart for cheap. Check the instruction manual for smarty it's a 1.1 USB cord or higher something like that??? I bought mine new at the beginning of Dec havn't updated it yet but do have a usb cord.
Yeah I got mine bout the same time you did and I have a spare cord laying around that will work, just never remember to bring in the smarty when I get home.... I'll get around to it sooner or later...
