After looking at Mayfair's 2G install, I put the brace under the battery so that the maintainer is next to the battery. If anyone finds a better place in the 3G model to mount this, I might move it. I also want to set mine up like Mayfair's so that I don't have separate extension cords for the maintainer and the heater.

You set up looks pretty good. I mounted mine to the bracket for my K&N. Here's a few shots. It'll show you the bracket as well as my cord relocation to the rear of my Ram
