Done with Kore
Plain and simple ... I need more ground clearance!! Kore, Cali or lorenz are not well known up in these parts, so getting parts or repair kits takes time and time is money, especially if one earns their bread an butter with ones truck. Lift kit companies on the other hand are widely used around here and parts or repairs can be done same day or next day, same as if one is in a remote location parts can be had the next day or by the 2nd day. At $750.00/day being down a day or two isn't as bad as waiting a week or more. As for fiberglass fenders at -40F for a few days to a week I don't hink they would hold up well! The suspension systems, which ever one may choose, may be more suited to the "weekend warrior", driving 10 to 15k miles/month off pavement IMHO is too much for them to handle!
At just over 35k on my Dick Cepek FCIIs they seem to be holding up well (better then the procomps) I have some "chips" in the thread due to the gravel, otherwise thread still has a ways to go!

Don't knowwhat kinda roads you might drive on a daily basis but, wondering what you carry as spare parts or as an emergency kit.. like a spare serpentine belt, fuel filter, anit gel etc... In my part of the world not only do I carry the perviously mentioned... but I also carry spare idler pulley, spare tie rod (rght side tie rod is famous for self destructing) 2 spare tires, extra fuel, cell phone, two way radio, satellite phone, 30,000lb tow straps and survival kit. It could be hours orGod forbid a day, before help arrives,if one breaks down where I make my living!

Lift kits will not last you over time offroad. Especially the shocks that are provided w/ them and coil spacers for lift and blocks in the rear. You will use every bit of your spare parts sooner. [sm=popcorn.gif]
Not trying to be an a**, but when you get on a forum and say "I had it w/ KORE" and make it sound like a bad product when your only complaint is trying to get spare parts for your shocks or maybe a legit problem and your wheels don't fit w/o rubbing (need to be educated on backspacing w/ our Dodges on bigger tires 5.5"-6", not KORES fault). So you need to go bigger to make them fit.[sm=dontgetit.gif]

I have plenty of experience with lift kits been running them on several trucks over the years, and understand the pros and cons. I know Kevin well and he has been very helpful in the past, problem is with Kore, even Kevin has admitted it.. "it does take time to get the parts and they can be somewhat slow to react". Fox shocks ( as recommended by Kevin I pulled all 4 shocks off and replaced the oil with synthetic oil due to colder climes still had problems with either seals or bushingswearing out prematurely)are the main reason for my "disapointment"... if say I had a dirt/motocross bike I would certainly have greater access to parts for Fox, but as far as automotive... well you have to have the patience of snail to appreciate getting parts from south of the boarder. If I could spend less time in the bush and more time on"real" roads I would likely get better performance from Fox A sad situation indeed, I have ordered "stuff" from Genos garage and from Diesel Manor and have received the goods within 3 to 5 business days. Kore Performance on the other handought tobe capable of doing the same. The Chase system works very well and to be totally honest I would do it again, only if I had far better after sale availability to parts and/or repair kits!
Like I said before, yes with a lift kit Imay or may notrun into problems down the road, but service and/or parts are much easily obtained! At least in neck of the woods.
I see plenty of "pretty" trucks posted on this forum, yes some haul their toys to their favorite places some are merely daily drivers work and home, but few of us here actually use our trucks to their intended purpose. I have close to 160k miles on mine and she has plenty of rock chips and scratches. I replaced the windshield twice, the OEM steering stablizer three times, Tie rods three times, Ball joints twice, front drive shaft twice, rear brake rotors three times, brake pads front and rear numerous times (mud up here dries fast to like cement and once the rotors pack up the brakes are toast very quickly) and Engine oil changes twice a month! So whether its Kore or a lift kit I'm gonna see problems, all I can do is when summer comes is pray that it doesn't rain
After I changed over to the larger rims (Demoda Intimidator 2s 20x10") this past summer I have yet to touch my brakes!!!
If the Auto makers wanna really test how tuff their trucks really are I'd like to invite them to the Great White North to spend a little bit quality time on some real world off road conditions ranging from dust bowls, miles of mud bogs and finally cold conditions where bare skin can freeze in less than a minute! Ask the fellows from Alaska what its like to get in yer truck and drive a few miles while trying to warm the tires up enough to smooth out the flat spots from parking overnight!!
