you will need a 5500# rated front axle to have a CTD power supply!
basically rape another wrecked ctd for its suspension. the earlier dodge trucks (with ctd) twisted front ends due to undrer rated front axles.
haha thanks but as far as my old one, it's been half wayrestored and is in a barn right now, waiting to be stripped for12v drag setup in the future, other finacial prorities at the moment, but getting ready to nab an 03 for Daily driver, I love the clean first gens, you dont see them alot
A little more hitch weight would help, but with a boat its kinda hard to do that. Air up the truck tires to the max amout listed on the tires. This will eliminate flex in the tires. A friction bar will also help. Do you have a sway bar on the rear axle? If not this will help also. Your snowmobile trailer will more than likely pull a little better because you can add a little more weight to the tongue. It is better to have the tongue alittle low than alittle high with level being what you want. You can go to a local RV dealer and he can show you the bars, and describe to you how they work as most travel trailers need this stuff to go straight down the road. I never run my tires at any amout less than max rating on the side of the tire. But then again, my fifth wheel has a tongue weight around 3000-3200lbs.
