The country I'm in doesn't have internet over phone. It's like a communications black hole. I'm even on the very farthest fringes of satellite coverage and you can't get a connection that way either.

I do the same thing though. Once I get pissed off, I just try to go to every site (other than ****) that wil trip the filter.

Let's put it his way, I can't even go to Cabela's on our system. It's retarded.

Here is a thought. Have your PC left on at home and use "Go to my PC" to connect to it from your $hithole. Run your browser on your Home PC and no one is the wiser. Since your home PC's browser isnt behind the firewall, there are no restrictions on it.

Yeah, it aint free but it may be handy. Course, your wife could see what your doin' .... so make sure shes asleep when your orderin' truck parts. [sm=badbadbad.gif]

Tried that. You have to have Admin rights to install ANYTHING. Let's put it this way, I can't even plug in a thumb drive. All my USB ports are dissabled to. I have to burn stuff on CD to transfer anything.

If I have stuff at home. I have to burn a disk to bring to work and vice versa. It's retarded. It's a completely unclass system and it's locked down as much (or more) that some class systems I use.

Well, if your office PC has Java (slim chance) on it, you dont have to install anything. They have a java "client" that works in your browser.
