i am also a member of the hi lifter forum/website. for those who dont know who hi lifter is, they make and sell "mods" for 4 wheelers. well, they want to be a family oriented, clean and friendly site. so clean, that you cant even use the word "cummins" when posting in the designated "truck discussion" forum. as soon as you type it in and hit "post" it is automatically asterisked out-- ****mins. YOU HAVE GO TO BE FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!

we edit other sites that have caused problems or "spammed" us here...sites who try to gather members by sending PMs or posting repeated links to their own site..none of my sites have ever gathered members by spamming, and i expect the same of other sites.

If I try to go to any site that has anything to do with gun, pistol, weapon, etc., it gets blocked.

When I worked behind the DoD firewall I got so frustrated w/ the proxy I actually bought a phone w/ full internet just so I could get to my GMAIL account.

Our DOIM had it set up that if you got caught in the filter x# of times in a certain amount of time it would send you an email....We used to have competitions around the office to see who could get the most in one day But that was when I was a contractor so I could get away with it.

 

The country I'm in doesn't have internet over phone. It's like a communications black hole. I'm even on the very farthest fringes of satellite coverage and you can't get a connection that way either.

I do the same thing though. Once I get pissed off, I just try to go to every site (other than ****) that wil trip the filter.

Let's put it his way, I can't even go to Cabela's on our system. It's retarded.
