Is there no one running a FS2500 filtration setup? Can ya really run a zillion miles between changes?? I could never find any one advertising them to know the cost of one.

 

I do it myself as well. $30 for Valvoline Premium Blue, $12 for oil filter, $13 for fuel filter. So $55 for everything. I usually do a fuel filter change ever other oil change.

 

I do it myself don't like other people messing with my truck so for whatever filter, oil, and beer costs that's whatI pay My dealer does diesel Rams 3 gal of"mystery" oil (NOT marvel mystery syns)and filterfor $39.95 + 9.75% state sales tax a pretty good deal if you don't like messing with it yourself. They charge about $80 to do fuel filter though never could figure that one out it only takes about 3 minutes to do and the filter itself is only about $10 or $15 unless your name is batphreak

 

My Oil change is free from the dealer as long as I own the truck, I do however have to pay for the filter around $14. They also rotate the tires for free. As far as the fuel filter goes, I change that myself.

 

I rather do it myself, get a quick drain and get er done son

 

I'm a Rotella fella, but giving serious thought to going completely synthetic. Still would like to find out more about real use thoughtson the FS2500 filtration set up. Any one have one?

 

Sounds like another thread expensive thoughis one thought you could get an amsoil bypass for a lot less money..

 

Did a search for oil filtration... thanks and ck'd the Amsoil.... about half the money!!
