yah my dad desided to take my truck out into snow. (the truck is not totally mine ) and he slid it into a pole. denting the fender, cracking the wind sheild, and breaking the head light. now when i turn all the way to the left i get a rubbing on the control arm. insurance company is covering it.

my family goes to our cabin at charrolet lake in BC every year for christmas. it is VERY senic, no power, only two other family's there, and hour away from the nearest town. there will be alot of snow when we go and we tow a 16' trailer which carrys the atv's or snowmobiles, with the dually wheels we dont get much traction so we took the inside wheel out.

I too made a winterfront, only I made mine out of acrylic ( I had it laying around ). How come you only covered the bottom?

Sucks to hear about your accident, but i'm glad to hear that the insurance company is covering it.

Here's my winterfront ..

The tops are kinda tricky. Both sides have different angles. Are you useing cardboard as a template first?

Yeah, the bottoms are more squared off so they're easier. The tops taper in towards the center.

I made a front for the inside of the grill on my rig as well, I have used cardboard my whole life, I remember the conversation from a few weeks ago. It is attached to the back side of the grill several inches from the radiator and it will be fine... Spray painted black so nobody knows but me... I am in the middle of moving right now otherwie I would shoot some pics for ya'lls as well.

It looks as if you have rust in your second picture or is that part of the paint?

yah it is rust. sadly but we arnt allowed to touch it for insurance reasons. they have to replace the whole fender anyways.
i know i know i feel like such a bad truck owner for letting rust freely form on my truck.
