Benny Boyd is where i bought my truck a couple months ago. they are a great dealership. that longbed conversion they have done runs around $7500. that was a little steep for a foot and a half more bed length. i have always owned longbed trucks until my current one. i probably would have ponyed up an extra 3-4 grand to get the longbed.
Really I think it's a bargain considering all the fabrication involved.

it may be a reasonable price for what all is involved (new long bed, new fender flares, paint, frame modification etc.), but it's still steepwhen compared to a factory long bed. to me it just wasn't worth it for the relatively small amount of smace gained. that equates to around $1000 per square foot, and $350 per cubic foot gained. that's expensive to me.
