Well I went ahead and put it on the truck. I am going to run the hell out of it tomorrow and see if it moves the filter minder. If it does, I am yanking it out and going with something else.
Needless to say, but let us know what you think...

not to much good about the Duramax
but some owners go together
pooled some contributed money
and did this test:

perhaps some Cummins owners going together could do a more up to date
voluntary test to cut through so much of the advertising hype
about how filters perform?

im running the drop in, the nice thing is there is no oil and when it gets dirty just blow it out with the compressor.

Ran the 2790 with pre-filter for a while. It is a MONSTER! A true BHAF

the amsoil nano filter dont use oil. I have the 4510 nano filter on my truck and it flows and filters 10 times better than the BHAF. I am very happy with it.

Any of you care to report back on the 4090 after a little more time with it? My Napa 2790 is getting on up there in mileage, and I'm thinking of going the AMSOIL route this time...

seeing this post again
reminds me that watching the stock "Filter Minder" on Cummins Rams
is a step in the right direction.

It would not be a bad idea to re-locate the Filter Minder inside the cab where it could be seen more readily

For less than $30
the automakers could make a dashboard gauge
to measure air filter restriction as standard equipment
like you find on most 18 wheel trucks.

A $30 dashboard gauge for filter restriction
would do away with most $300 CAI 'sucker purchases'
