well on the way to maine about a week ago...i noticed the belt was making some noises. today i got it back from the dealer up here after having the fuel leak fixed and noticed it again and forgot i didnt tell them to fix it. does this mean my belt is gone or is it just dry or what? what makes it do that?
is there anyway that there is the chance that because of the noise the belt is close to snaping or breaking.....i have to drive back to NC on Tuesday and that would just suck for that to happen!
meh, its not a big deal. If you think its time to change it, go for it. It doesnt take more than a few minutes. Just release the tension with a wrench on the automatic tensioner, throw the new one on, tightener her back up and you're good to go
hell i reckon ill do it one of these days....most likely when i get back down south...cant stand these peoples attitudes in this northern part..but i love the country up here...just get some mean people every once in a while...i mean hell if u wave they dont even wave back! lol
damn i am glad you said that because i was going to wait till i get there...and drive all night threw PA, VA, WV, TN, and all, would suck broke down without a belt!
