Default My new winter front

Finally got my new winter radiator cover in the mail. Included a couple of pics. First is of the cover, the second is with the hood closed, and the 3rd is of our guard cat. I like this cover because it is virtually unseen with the hood down.

Got the cover from dodgeparts.com. $114 including shipping. $10 cheaper than the dealer and it is a genuine dodge part. I went to a couple local dealers and these are backordered a couple of months. Dodgeparts had them in stock. A little early to tell how good it does. Still warm here (30 degrees). Did drive all over today, with alot of stop and go, and temps stayed right at normal. Supposed to get colder next week so will have to wait and see. Should work great though. As for the guard cat, he hasn't climbed on the Dodge, but he likes climbing all over my wife's S10. He's always on a leash, we walk him around just like a dog. Kinda freaks some people out in the campgrounds we are at!

I just got mine installed a couple weeks ago. Like the fact you can open it or close it as the temp dictates. Still to warm here too to see how good it works but I will be heading to Colorado on Sat. So I will probably run into some cold out there next week. Orderd it from my dealer and it was thee the next day. Same $ as yours.

I'm leaning towards the grill inserts. I'm actually thinking of making them on my own.

but that tarp deall loks like it would work nice.
