Top O.D. (Inches):8.00"
Bottom O.D. (Inches):8.00"
Keven, I've never heard of a down-pipe being permanently attached to the exhaust housing. Someone's pulling your leg. Most attach by way of a V-band clamp.
Here's my mess ~

Thanks for the kind words folks.
The "Stock-Pot Cold air Box" started life as a 33qt stainless steel soup pot ~

The BHAF I run is that commonly found at places such as Air Flow Systems ~ http://store.airflo.com/b105006.html
The BHAF is itself the same size as the entire OEM filter housing. This particular filter is approximatly 8.5" diameter x 12" long.~

Whittle on the pot to make it fit the filter, add the intake horn~

Hollow out a spot in the truck ~

Perforate the bulkhead surrounding the headlight/turn signal ~

Put the BHAF in with a lid ~

And replace the OEM turbo intake tube with a hard-walled type ~

It breathes real nice. [sm=itsok.gif]

Maybe if you get real bored you can focus some of that attention on the beat up body and make a nice truck out of it?I know, I know it's a work truck it ain't supposed to be pretty but that's an a-1 job right thereon the BHAF intake. Prolly if it didn't look like a beater jr would have some excuse handy too

With my most recent upgrade being the DDP4's, I'm just now getting the opportunity to make a pass on a quarter mile track (http://fayettevillemotorsportspark.com).
Decent I reckon . . . . 14.16 @ 93.46

(The other fella's mess broke half way there).
