Contact their customer service people and tell them in a nice way that you beleive you were mislead and think you should be credited for the S&H charges. Of coarse the first person you talk to can not do that for you so after they tell you too bad, ask in a nice way to speak to a supervisor. Excplain the whole thing again to the supervisor and ask them for the credit. If you get nowhere there, then ask the supervisor if that charge is worth loosing a customer for life. If they say there is nothing they can do then tell them no problem you have lost me as a custmer. Then you do some research and find out who is the top dog in that company and you write them a letter explaining your issue and that customer service was not helpfull and that you will not patronize them any more and that you will tell everyone you talk to about vehihcles not to deal with them. You will probably somewhere along the line get your credit, if you maintain your cool.

Do all performance shops charge that kind of shipping?? I used to work at a performance shop and the owner charged extra money if we sent it out with "Brown", but people need to know it is against the law to make a profit from shipping costs if it is shipped out with regular government mail "postal service", But who will take the time to go to the post office and do that for you??[:'(]

That's why it is posted as shipping and handling charges. Not against the law to add extra for handling fees, that is the way they get around add the extra charges.

Youre right, I guess its the way they word it. That "Handling fee" should be a cost of doing buisness and just charge you for shipping and thank you for doing buisness with them?? What happend to that??. My.02

I agree shouldn't be any handling fees, shipping only and if you needed extra to pay the guy in the shipping dept. you should not have sold it so cheap.

If I could get the part elsewhere, thats what I'd do, don't reward their bad behavior with your business.

I called to price a cold air system for my truck the other day and the guy added in "Free Shipping if you buy now" now I'm wondering if they will try this on me if I end up buying it? I'm not falling for the bannana in the tail pipe
