Ok buzzy, you'll pick the softwares that say they go up to 07 although it's the same as the one that goes to 06.

You have mild which is what came on the smarty, moderate which adds a little more power and then there wild. What I did was made a folder called " Smarty " then I made sub-folders called " mild ", " moderate ", and " wild ". Download each of the versions into each of their folder.

Now, when you go to load the smarty from your computer with which ever version you decide at the moment, you know right where they are. Only one of them will be loaded onto the Smarty at a time.

If you have a version already loaded in the truck, you don't have to go back to stock before loading a different version in. The stock software is always in the smarty for when you decide to go back

Hey guys I have just loaded the moderate Smarty software and only plan on running it on Level III as I am still stock do you think that I will be OK. I am looking more for increased fuel economy.

 

Thats where I am confused. There are two files that say Stock, two files for mild, two for moderate, and they are all dated Dec. 13th 2007.
There has to be a reason why. Surely you don't just pick one and thats the only updated level in the Smarty. Then If I wanted to change to another level I would have to update it again? Seems to me that they all need to be updated to have all the updated levels in the Smarty at one time.
I will email tech support tommorrow. I would hate to sit here for 5 hours updating stuff that doesn't need to.

 

there's two versions for different trucks. You have a 07 so you would download the software that goes up to 07... S06V411BD111A47.7z
ending in 47 not the 36.

There are two version of smarty software for the S06. they're S06a and S06b I forget which is which but, you just need to always download the version that show 2007

Dude, you're making it harder than it needs to be. Pick ONE of the softwares... either mild, moderate or wild. Only one !as that's all you need at any one time.

Load that into the smarty. Now, load it into the truck. You're goos to go ! So, you want to try a different version of software, connect to youor computer, load a different software on, then go load it into your truck.... now you have a different software loaded.

You don;t have to download all the softwares at once..... ONLY the one you need

 

Ok, I see it now. I didn't notice the dates, first glance they all looked the same then I had blinders on from there on out.
