first you need to download the USB file so your computer knows how to talk to smarty. . .then downlaod the program that updates the smarty. also go to 7zip and download that unzip program. when you download each file you will need to run it through the 7zip program, then open the uploader for the smarty, tell the upload which program you want, click send and wait 40 min for it to flash the memory.

Man I really hope I didn't screw up. Was I suppose to return the truck to stock before updating the Smarty? If so, It's too late now. And I hve to wait 40 minutes for each of the 6 files to download???

Ok but what about all the different files? There are 6 of them to choose from and it looks like they are for different power levels. It doesn't really give any info on what they are.
Do I download them all?

Oh, I was think you had JR. The different softwares are mild, moderate and wild. Just pick which year truck you have. It's up to you which one you pick but, I'd stay away from the latter two until you have some trans work done. Wild on #9 is a added 170hp !

so basicly those are all individual level upgrades. Looks like levels 2,3,4,5,6 and 7. So I would need to download them all to get the latest software for all levels on the Smarty. Am I thinking correct here.
That sucks at 40 minutes a piece. And I might as well update all of them, I use different settings all the time trying to find what works best for me right now.

no, all levels are updated at once. .. you just tell the smarty uploader tool which software revision you want and it uploads all aplicable information needed.

then you just go out, plug the smarty up to your truck and pick which software you want all the way to 9. just remember even numbers do not add timeing, odd numbers add timeing. timeing can be your friend, but too much will hurt you.
