Default Shocks

Lets talk about shock, something to replace the factory shocks. I know the Bilstens are good but blue and yellow on a red truck just hurts. I have used the Ranco shocks an a half ton bot are the 5000's going to work on a 3/4 ton or do I need to spring for the 9000's

Are there any recomendations other than the ranchos and price and color do matter as well as life span and performance.

I dont cary much load an ATV or tow a 3000 lbs boat. I think the stocks have given up on the small highway bumps and are letting the tires bounce a small amount.

IMO. Bilsteins. You don't have to get the blue/yellow, you can get the stainless steel ones. Either way, you'll feel the road a little more as they're a bit stiffer than stock.
